BOARD AND TRAINS
Our Board and Train Programs are so much more than just obedience. This is fully immersive training where your dog stays with us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We focus on removing bad habits, teaching confidence, fulfilling the physical and mental needs of your dog, and creating structure for the dog and owner.
It is our goal to help create a relationship between each dog and their owner where they can live in harmony together. After Each Board and Train we break down everything your dog learned during training and teach you how to continue training at home. Also we offer 6 FREE lessons after the Board and Train to ensure everyone is on the same page with how to stay consistent at home.
The Southland K9 Training facility is highly secure, climate controlled, and monitored by video surveillance, fire detection, smoke, heat, and carbon detection.
3 WEEK Program
This is our most basic Board and Train package that is not meant for dogs who struggle with severe anxiety, fear, or aggression.
We work on:
- Walking properly on a leash without pulling, barking, lunging, or reacting to distractions
- Heel
- Recall
- Sit
- Down
- Place
- Correcting bad behaviors - jumping up on people, jumping on counters, getting in trash, mouthing, nipping, chewing on furniture, etc
- Crate Training and Manners
- Building Confidence and Focus on the Handler
- Teaching Dogs how to differentiate between work and play

Behavior Modification
4 (+) Week Program
This program is designed for dogs that are exhibiting intense dog aggression, fear aggression, human aggression, anxiety, and resource guarding. We accept dogs of all breeds, ages, sizes, and levels of aggression. We cater directly to the issues your dog is having and focus on not only fixing the problem but also setting you and your dog up for success after training.
